Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced computer vision systems for object detection, recognition, tracking, and more.
Develop, optimise, and oversee algorithms and machine learning models for complex tasks such as image segmentation, classification, and feature extraction.
Integrate computer vision solutions with hardware, software, and AI frameworks to enable reliable real-time performance in industrial settings.
Prototype, test, debug, and scale vision-based applications, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and reliability under dynamic conditions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to turn client challenges into production-ready vision solutions.
Document technical approaches, share knowledge, and drive continuous innovation across the team.
Essentials
Foundations We Can't Live Without.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field with a focus on AI, machine learning, or computer vision.
7+ years of hands-on experience leading complex computer vision projects from concept to deployment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world achievements in computer vision and AI.
Proficiency in Python and C++, plus deep experience with libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
Solid expertise in deep learning (CNNs, object detection, segmentation) and handling large visual datasets.
Proven ability to work autonomously on high-impact projects while delivering reliable, production-grade solutions.

Proven experience applying computer vision in harsh industrial environments (e.g., mining, aluminium smelters, heavy industry).
